My Photographic journey started on 2007. While on a trip to Glencoe, I captured an image of stag at the side of the road, it was not until I got home and transferred the image onto my pc that I thought I had captured some thing a bit special and I started taking an interest in photography and wanted to know how to take better photographs. My photography has always been part time, arranging shoots around my work.


In 2008 I sold my first image, It was an image of the QE2 on it's last voyage with the hills of Arran behind it. 2008 was also the year that I shot my first wedding, it was for a couple that I knew and I spent weeks researching wedding photography on the internet.

In 2011 I started my HND in photography, it was also the year that I got my first image published. I sent some images to Digital SLR magazine about capturing wildlife in captivity and they ran a double page spread, I also started submitting images to my local paper of local sporting events. 2011 was also the year that I sold my first image online.

In 2013 I completed my HND in photography finishing with an "A" in my graded unit with a series of motocross images, I also won my first online photographic competition, it was sponsored by fujifilm and ran on Amateur Photographer and I won an A3 photobook of my images.

I am still photographing weddings, landscapes and other events, I am also now improving my image editing techniques using programs like photoshop and lightroom to take my photography to the next level. I now like creating images by blending two  or more images together.

I have now been published many times and photographed many weddings with regular sales of prints and canvases from online stores, but most of all I still enjoy photography and looking forward to my next first.
